How do you buy e-tickets in our app?
Plan your trip the way you are accustomed to doing in the app. You will instantly see the best travel options on your screen. Compare and select the best travel option and immediately buy your e-ticket using the button under the travel advice in the app.
The purchased e-ticket is your travel ticket, with which you can immediately travel. With your 9292 e-ticket on your phone, you can open any gates you encounter on the way. You have the e-ticket quickly at hand for a check by a conductor or when boarding by the driver.
How can I pay in the 9292 app or Moves by 9292 app?
All payments are made in the app via iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
How do I get my e-ticket?
After you pay for your e-ticket, your e-ticket appears directly in the app, and you can start your trip. Your e-ticket(s) can be found under ‘My e-tickets’ in the menu in the app.
Are my purchased e-tickets stored so that I can claim them on expense sheets?
In addition to the e-ticket appearing and being stored in the app, you will also receive a confirmation of receipt by email. You can use this email to declare expenses afterwards.
Pay attention! This email is not a valid ticket.
Can I buy tickets in advance in the app?
Yes, you can. You can buy e-tickets using our app some days before your departure. Make sure to enter the correct time and date when planning your trip. Depending on the transport company and the region of your travels, you can buy an hourly ticket or a ticket specifically for your trip.
Can I buy multiple tickets in the 9292?
Yes, you can buy e-tickets for multiple trips and people. At the moment you cannot buy tickets for several people at a discounted rate (Samenreiskorting).
Please be aware! The tickets can only be used on the phone where they were purchased. These cannot be forwarded to another person.
What e-tickets can you currently buy in our app?
The 9292 e-ticket makes travel easier and more fun for occasional travellers who (currently) do not have an OV-chipkaart. In our app, you plan trips and buy tickets for a single trip.
The following e-tickets are available for sale via the 9292 app:
- All Hermes Bravo buses
- All Breng buses
- All Connexxion buses
- All EBS buses
- All GVB buses, trams and metro (except the night buses)
- All HTM buses and trams
- All Keolis buses
- All Qbuzz buses in Groningen en Drenthe
- RET buses, metro and trams (including the BOB bus)
- All U-OV buses and trams
It is thus (for the time being) not possible to:
- buy children's tickets
- buy e-tickets with the 65+ discount
- buy subscriptions
- link the e-tickets to your 'OV-chipkaart'
- buy 1st class train tickets
Why can't I buy all e-tickets in the app at the moment?
Is there a message ‘Malfunction: temporarily unavailable’?
Then we currently have a malfunction, so that prevents us from offering all e-tickets at the moment. We assume that this disruption will be short-lived. If possible, try again later.
Do you need to travel now? Buy a ticket from the ticket machine or from the carrier.

When is the NS Off-peak ticket valid?
The NS Off-peak ticket is valid:
On working days from:
- 0.00 - 6.30 am
- 9am - 4pm
- 8.30 - 04.00 the next day
- You are therefore not allowed to be on the train with this ticket between 6.30 and 09:00. and between 4 and 6:30 p.m.
- There are no exceptions on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and the NS off-peak ticket is valid all day long
An NS Dalurenticket that can be purchased in this app does not require a subscription from NS.
Do I need an NS discount card for the NS off-peak ticket purchased in this app?
No, you do not need an NS subscription to buy NS off-peak tickets in this app

Unfortunately, it takes longer than usual to collect your e-ticket.
- Check with your bank whether the payment was successful.
- Take another look at My e-tickets in the 9292 app short before your trip. The e-ticket is almost always ready on time in the 9292 app. If the ticket is not ready on time in the 9292 app before your trip, please contact us.
